Hi Julie,
Thanks for the reply!
I do receive/make PIN messages and use the BBM.
It's just that when I type the word mypin in the body of a text/email, it doesn't switch to/show my PIN number. It does nothing at all.
My number does shows up in the Adv Options/SIM Card area as well as the Ent. Activation screen.
Mine is: 24A64FB6

To make sure your number shows up, go into Options / Advanced options / SIM CARD and make sure your phone number is in the phone number field.(press menu to enter information) By default the number may not be there. I use a BB Bold and it was not in there on my phone when I first initialized it.

Hi Vincenzo,
Where are you entering this information (subject or body?) What happens when you type mypin and press space? Go into Options / Advanced Options and under Enterprise Activation your PIN number will be listed there. Let me know what that number is and I will try testing with you.

Hi Julie,
I tried typing the mypin and mynumber but nothing happens on my BB. It's a Curve 8900. I don't know where I can go to modify my settings. It would really be helpful to have this work. Would you know how to get this working?

Great tips! I know most people don't bother to read manuals cover to cover and end up missing out on some great features.
